Danny ‘Maxi’ Hughes is a 31-year-old boxer signed with Matchroom Boxing and is the current IBO Lightweight champion of the world.

Hughes, from Rossington in Doncaster, boasts a professional record of 24-2-5. He won his first major title in March 2021, beating Paul Hyland Jr via TKO to win the then vacant British Lightweight title.

In September 2021 Maxi was given the chance to fight for the IBO world title against Jovanni Straffon at Headingly Stadium in Leeds. Maxi comfortably won the bout by unanimous decision placing him with some of the most exciting fighters in the world of boxing including Devin Haney, Ryan Garcia and Vasyl Lomachenko.

The Process

We tailor our services to each athlete.  We start with a consultation with the athlete to establish how best we can work together and which of our services work for them.
Once a plan has been established, we get to work leaving the athlete to focus all of their attention on the field.
