Funding Support

We Raise the Game supports charities, CIC’s, and amateur sports clubs secure funding both nationally and locally for projects that help their communities.

We currently work with over 78 organisations across the UK and their average return on investment is 1,560%.

We have secured £2.6 million in funding for revenue projects, examples include employability programs, female safety, youth clubs, knife crime workshops, warm spaces, holiday activities and food programs. The funding covers costs including staffing, operating costs, equipment and general core running costs.

We can also help you with larger capital projects, if you want to update your facilities or transform a new building we can help you with the process of engaging architects onsite, drawing up plans and putting together a project plan. We also have expert advisors who can support with legal matters including commercial leases. Our job is then to approach funders with your ideas and secure you funding for your project.

Our experienced team can help you formulate project ideas and make your organisation more sustainable.

“We Raise the Game have helped our charity take the next step. They identified links we needed to make in the community, for example the local neighbourhood police teams and have expanded our capacity to get funding.”

“We are now running takeover sessions in schools for both boys and girls on female safety funded by the VRU. This has been hugely rewarding and something we wouldn’t have considered without the help of We Raise The Game”

“As a small organisation we didn’t have the time to write funding applications and we didn’t know where to start. We Raise the Game have secured over £29,000 in 9 months and secured a minibus worth £25,000”

Our Partners & Services

Our Case Studies

Steel City ABC – A Community Amateur Sport Club

We started working with the Sheffield based boxing club in 2019. Over the past two years we have helped the organisation secure over £70,000 to help deliver a range of projects. We have also aligned the boxing club to local priorities, enabling the club to deliver on the award-winning community initiative ‘Fight For Good’. The club has recently incorporated as a CIC to further extend their work across Sheffield.

Active Lives Active Communities – A Community Interest Company (CIC)

In 2018 Ben Hunter the owner of Kixx UK approached us to incorporate, develop and incubate a new non for profit community interest company. He wanted to create a new non for profit arm to the group structure which had a focus on ‘purpose’. The aim was to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged young people across the UK.

Our support has included:

– Over £200,000 of new funding

– Working with over 2500 young people

– Working in 6 different regions of England

– Linked the organisation in local, regional and national policy.

Positive Youth Foundation – A Charitable Organisation (CIO)

Positive Youth Foundation have been accessing our fundraising support since 2010. Our director Paul Evans has developed a long term relationship with founder and executive director Rashid Bhayat. It is important we understand the organisation in which we support, including both the short and long terms aspirations. During the last decade our support to Positive Youth Foundation has been significant and it is something we are really proud of.
